My travel companion, Kira Ellington, helped me find and drive home an antique 100 year old sofa from a resale shop in Shreveport in 2015. We are the third guardians of this lovely velvet living room set, cushions still stuffed with original horse hair. One of my first art patrons suggested we visit this shop. The ninety something year old lady who had consigned it decided she wanted something new!
